Microneedling or otherwise known as collagen induction therapy is used to treat hyper pigmentation, scars, acne scars, burns, fine lines and wrinkles. If you are longing for a smooth, flawless complextion look no further. Micro needling is a minimally invasive procedure but does require a few "down" days where your skin may be red, tight and a little sore. This procedure is not recomended for anyone who has open sores, current acne, blood disorders, currently using certain medications or those who are under going cancer treatment.
ABSOLUTELY !! scalp pigmentation can be done in many ways. Those with entirely bald spots or entire scalps can use PMU scalp treatments to achieve a "5oclock" shadow look on their heads reviving the hair line. Those suffering from receiting hairlines and balding on the head can also greatly achieve a thicker looking head of hair. Women who have thinning hairlines can also achieve a fuller look by shaddowing in the areas with pigment. Depending on the desired area of treatment you may need additonal appointments. Men who also have patchy areas on the face due to scaring or simply inability to grow facial hair can also benefit from having this procedure done to camoflauge these areas.
Just like all good things, it takes time, patience and techincal work to achieve desired results. The skin in certain procedures needs time to heal between treatments as well. Certain PMU treatments require an additional touch ups 6-12 weeks post to ensure pigement is deposited into the skin correctly and evenly. Because we all have different skin types the healing process and depth is different for each person. Having touchups is a necessary process in PMU.
Additional appointments are needed for micro needling and BB glow to continue the collagen induction therapy over time giving your skin a beautiful result. It is recomended that these procedures are done 3+ time.
All appointments may need additional sessions also depending on the size of the area being trteated. It is important you speak with your techniqtion and know the suggested amount of times you may need to be treated.
